Toronto, Canada – Jan. 30, 2008 – TORLYS Smart Floors today announced the launch of TORLYS Leather flooring, available for the North American market in 2008.
TORLYS Leather has been created specifically to meet the design and décor needs of today’s discerning consumer. This will be an exclusive product, sold only through TORLYS dealers in North America.
Peter Barretto, TORLYS President, was clearly energized with this latest product offering. “We discovered a technology and a process that allows us to create a leather floor of excellent quality and offer it at a very acceptable price. High price has been a problem for other leather floors, but our solution – TORLYS Leather – will allow us to tap into a much wider mainstream consumer market.”
TORLYS Leather will come in a variety of classic tones and patterns, appealing to décor consumers who balance concern for the environment, a desire for rich, natural textures and leading edge design sensibilities. Few products can match what TORLYS Leather has to offer.
TORLYS Leather is made from 80% recycled leather, applied to TORLYS Smart Core. Similar to all its new products, TORLYS Leather comes with a beneficial acoustic and insulating cork backing, which means the floor does not require a separate underlay when installed. Every floor is prefinished, produced with the Uniclic joint technology and is environmentally friendly.
