TORLYS is headquartered in an 86,000-square-foot facility in Toronto, Canada. TORLYS also has a 13,000-square-foot warehouse, office and showroom in British Columbia, as well as sales offices and showrooms in Montreal.

TORLYS History
TORLYS is a privately owned company founded in 1988 by founding partners Fernando Luz and Anibal Claudino. The name TORLYS is derived from Toronto (TOR) and Lisbon (LYS).

The company was originally started as a general building products and flooring distributor serving the Central Ontario building supply and commercial hardwood flooring markets.

In 1991, current President and CEO Peter Barretto joined TORLYS, and the previously broad-based regional building materials supplier was streamlined to focus on becoming a national floorcovering distribution specialist.
